Built in 1812, Theatre Royal Drury Lane is London’s most stately theatre. For many years it was home to Miss Saigon and then My Fair Lady, returning to the theatre at which it first opened in 1958. It currently houses the UK Premier of The Lord of the Rings. In addition to the auditorium there are numerous function and meeting rooms enabling us to cater for anything from a meeting for 15, to a lunch/reception or conference for 120, to a major product launch or presentation in the auditorium, which seats 2,200. The theatre is licensed as a venue for Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships. To complete the perfect event, our dedicated in-house hospitality team can provide a full catering service, from finger and fork buffets to full silver service dinners with fine wines, all prepared by our own Chefs using the freshest ingredients. A dedicated conference manager will assist you through to the completion of your event, tailoring menus to match your needs and ensuring that you will have a day to remember.

We can also include theatre tickets as part of your event, or a theatre tour – a unique and enchanting experience. Led by professional actors who inform and entertain, your guests will be taken on a memorable journey through the theatre’s history. With full technical support for professional lighting, sound and staging as well as meeting room equipment, the venue is normally available for weekday daytime hire including Sundays.
